A high water summer!

We have had a very high water year this summer. We had very above average flows and a lot of rain throughout July and August. It was productive with fish on days that we were able to fish. A lot of trout, bass, and walleye were brought to the net this summer. These are photos of our successful anglers from this summer. Please email us at evan@sweetwaterguide.com or mike@sweetwaterguide.com to schedule a fall fishing trip.

July, August and September are prime time for Smallmouth Bass fishing.  High number of fish per trip, great for beginners and families, Call 570-647-7030 to book today.

Our fall season has been great for a classic mixed bag trip. Trout, bass, and walleye are all on the feed in the fall.  This is a great time to get out on the river once more before the temperatures drop and the snow flies.  These second and third weeks of October will provide great foliage viewing and solid fishing conditions.  Call us today to schedule a float. 570-224-4747

Mid summer fishing was great!

This summer brought below average water temperatures, and above average water flow.  These conditions provided great mixed bag fishing conditions for most of the summer.  We boated Walleye and Bass almost everyday, with a few trout still finding their way to the net this summer.

May and early June provide!

May and June have had long days, and plenty of fish to be had.  Spin fishing and fly fishing conditions have been fantastic.  We are nearing the end of our trout and shad fishing season.  Smallmouth bass and Walleye will begin to be our choice target species.  Once water temps begin to decline again later in the fall we will target trout more specifically again.  Join us for a summer float trip!  Call us at 570-224-4747 to schedule a trip today!

More winter Walleye fishing

Between the last few winter storms, we have had breaks in the weather, enough to get the boat out on open water.  Each day we have gone out has produced a variety of fish.  Our last outing we managed to boat 4 different species of fish, and enjoyed a 40 degree day on the water.  Walleye, Pickerel, Fallfish, and Suckers were caught.  Here are a couple of pictures!  And remember, give us a call at 570-224-4747 to schedule your 2017 fishing trip today!

Mid Winter Walleye Fishing!

After some rain and warm temperatures, select locations are accessible on the Upper Delaware.  We have Walleye fished 3 times with success in the past two weeks.  It appears that Old Man Winter is returning for a little while again, but keep your eyes on the weather for nice days, and give us a call if you can brave the cold for some open water Walleye fishing!

Spring Fishing Trips are booking up!  We have been getting reservations for April-June almost daily.  Plan ahead if you will like to fish on select dates.  Call Mike at 570-224-4747 to schedule your trip today!

July Fishing!

The month of July has been a true summer month with hot days and some relatively cool nights.  The Cannonsville Reservoir release has been sustained at around 500cfs and was recently risen to 700cfs.  This cold water is providing nice cool water for the West Branch and very Upper Main stem.  Down stream it is helping the lower main stem flows stay up so there are not as many shallow exposed places.  The fishing for all species here has remained good, with the Smallmouth Bass fishing taking the cake with 60+ fish days on the regular.

Here are some photos of our successful anglers from the end of June and into July.  Please give us a call at 570-224-4747 to schedule a late July or August fishing trip.  A day on the water is blissful and relaxing, come join us.

We finish out a busy May on the Upper Delaware!

Water temperatures allowed us to fish through the third week of May pretty successfully for Trout.  Once we got around 68 degree water we started targeting Shad, Bass, and Walleye more regularly.  We can still do limited Trout trips on the West Branch and Upper Main stem when the water flows and temperatures cooperate.
